Roval 300 Update and Rainout Make-up Dates Announced
Mother nature has taken its toll on racing all across the country this year, including Lebanon I-44 Speedway. We have now endured three rain cancellations so far this season. One of which has already been made up, but two are still left on the table.
Originally, the Roval 300 Enduro was scheduled for Saturday, July 27th. In order to get in all of our regular season shows, we are going to schedule a regular show on July 27th and the Roval 300 will be moved to Saturday, October 5th. In conjunction with the regular show on July 27th, the Hornet division will be racing on the Roval that night! This will make for an exciting, one-off event that will help track officials learn what improvements can be made to the Roval before the Enduro and this will also give the Hornet drivers an advantage as they will already have laps on the track when October 5th rolls around.
This schedule change allows our weekly racers the opportunity to compete in another show which will allow them to score more points as each driver battles it out for the 2019 Championship. This also gives the Roval 300 entrants and extra two months to complete their cars. The Roval 300 will be the last race of the season which will provide our racers the opportunity to enter their cars as an Enduro car without the fear of tearing it up and missing several races.
If you have any further questions regarding these schedule changes, please feel free to reach out to us! Until then, we will see all of you at our next event on Wednesday, July 3rd, for the Salute to 75!
